The Memphis Comic and Fantasy Convention is looking for faculty volunteers for its Geek 101 event:

The Geek 101 event hosts interactive presentations on media and technology in a school-trip like atmosphere.
Last year student volunteers and I did robotics demonstrations for several hundred kids.
If you are interested in participating, please contact Joe Thordarson at memphiscfc@gmail.com.
He will organize a group tour of the location in early Sept for those interested.
