East Tennessee is currently looking to fill a position for the INtopFORM Librarian. The person who is hired must have a Master’s degree in either Library and Information Science (from an ALA-accredited program), Instructional Design, or Instructional Technology. The INtopFORM Librarian is part of the leadership team for East Tennessee State University’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), which is based on a broad definition of information literacy. The position is a full-time, 12 month administrative appointment lasting a minimum of four years and reporting to the Dean of Libraries.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve on the INtopFORM leadership team; maintain and enhance INtopFORM website; create and manage online tutorials and faculty development materials; collaborate with faculty to design assignments and modules that fulfill INtopFORM learning objectives; collaborate with INtopFORM team to design and conduct faculty development workshops. QUALIFICATIONS: ALA-accredited Master’s degree; knowledge of information literacy competencies and standards, experience in a college or university; expertise in instructional design. SALARY: $55,000.
