Coding fundamentals. Getting started with coding. Create a simple introduction to your classroom and understand what concepts your kids are learning when they do Code.org or other online coding sites.

Sustaining Innovative Change

A sustainability planning model will be shared using the results of research in the field that took place in two public school districts in the United States.  The two school districts implemented Open Educational Resources in K-12 schools and their implementation process was studied for alignment with a sustainability-planning model found in the research literature.  A new model for sustaining innovative change was created using both data from the field and literature.  The model addresses change-management theory, organizational development, and role clarity within a school and their impact on sustaining innovation within a school.
