Avron B. Fogelman Professional Development Center—Career Coach

This part-time position offers the opportunity to work with business majors to support their transition from the classroom to the board room. With a schedule of 20-25 hours per week, the right candidate will get to:

a) Work with students in workshops related to career searches, résumé development, and career topics.
b) Interact and be the “project manager” for the Fogelman student Toastmasters Club—helping with student completion and program needs
c) Manage social media interaction with students for professional development
d) Assist in Professional Development Center events such as Internship Fairs, Social Media workshops, and Career Communications workshops
e) Assist the Director on special projects as needed for student development goals.

Selected candidates should be pursuing at a minimum a graduate degree in a related area and should be a “student-focused” professional.
