Based on student interest and enrollment, another section of EDPR 8561: Intro to Qualitative Methods in Education will be offered this coming semester, Spring 2012. The course will be taught by Dr. Mitsu Misawa and will be held on Wednesdays from 5-8pm. Please register as soon as possible in order to receive course reading information.

Course Description
This course provides an introductory overview of the qualitative research process beginning with epistemological underpinnings, and continuing through theoretical perspectives, methodologies, methods, analysis, and write up. Qualitative approaches of prediction, understanding, emancipation, and deconstruction will be introduced and discussed.
